new to me 68 c20

I have been browsing on the forum for awhile and finally picked up a 68 c20 with a 350 and sm465 and buddy buckets!

No never. It's pretty neat looking. Looks like they used 67/68 CST lower trim with 69-72 upper trim to make a unique truck. I like it.

huh, i never knew that about the trim. Might have to keep it like that.
Thats how i bought it except for the wheels and tires. Had a set of good dodge wheels and tires i threw on her to drive it.

That looks like the code for the 67/68 lower trim. If I remember right, the 69-72 trim is actually broken up into upper and lower (you could get the lower trim without the upper on a 69-72).

67/68's only ever had lower trim. It's also different, 67/68 trim goes around the wheel wells (like yours). 69-72 lower trim did not.

I think it's a neat look, if you like it, keep it.

Found it, if it did have upper trim, it would have had code B85 as well (you only have B98):
