Free truck in Everett, WA

Found this listing on Craigslist. It is hard to see in the photo, but it looks like a 67-72 Chevy or GMC - FREE! Someone with ablitiy to tow it might be able to use it for parts or make a little extra $.

This truck has no motor, possibly no brakes. Basically just a frame, wheels, tires, bed, canopy and whatever else....you'll have to have it towed away by a towing company. I'm afraid that if someone was to try to use a tow chain there could be some complications.

this is in or around Everett

Sorry...you're not Corey...that is COBALT! I guess I have no leverage over you...ROFLMAO!

If they aren't responding, it is probably a hoax. Probably a disgruntled neighbor who is tired of looking over the fence at it.

Yeah, like it might fall over that rock wall
How the hell did he/she get it up there. There has to be a logical answer to that one.

With the way things move off CL I would not be surprised to hear a towing company got it this morning since it was posted late last night and I responded early this morning. Beating Frank to one of these would be a like slamming one on Shaq or fanning Barry...it just don't happen very often and can make a career...LOL!

I wonder how fast he was going when he jumped that ravine and buried that poor truck into those trees? I have not heard a word from the guy so I am still thinking that is already in a yard somewhere just north of Olympia...LOL...or it is in the Pull-A-Part on North Aurora!

Well...it's almost a free truck...more like 1/4 of a truck. Just the frame box and two canopies! Here is the good news...it is a Longhorn box and appears to be very straight! I plan to pick it up once CARS4567 gets back from CA with the trailer.

Boy, the owner must never go out to their backyard if they didn't know it was missing the cab. The bed and frame should be worth something. Glad to hear it is going to a board member!

Silver...you are so right about the canopy...it is an old classic Alpine aluminum unit. For someone doing a "period" 100 pt. restoration it would be a must have! If a person did not want it the metal recyclers are paying a premium for aluminum right now. I will keep it for the restoration. I don't know about the other one though and will have to see.

Way to go Kirby. You Lucky Dog, you get all of the good stuff. You're just too fast for me.
PS: I did just get back from looking at a 72 GMC, nice solid runner, a 72 Longhorn & 72 Blazer parts trucks. I'll just keep trying.
