Doetsch or KYB shocks?
Dropping my 65 short step with spindle/aftermarket springs in front and aftermarket springs in back for a 4"/5" total drop. Was wondering what your opinions were on those brands. Or maybe some one has used something else?

Re: Doetsch or KYB shocks?
I've used both brands under my 63 truck which is lowered with spindles and springs. I found the Doetsch Tech units too stiff and the KYBs just right.

What about Bilsteins?
Has any one used them on that set up?

Re: Doetsch or KYB shocks?
i can't speak for the '65... but i had Doetsch on my old '93 fullsize short/step with a 5/8 drop, & they worked nicely
