anybody ever use this stuff and then painted over it .i would likee to use it in the ceiling and on the doors and wandered could you paint it .also do they make headliners for these trucks thanx

I have it my truck, but its not painted. Not sure what that would look like. Its a good product though.

From the factory the cab ceiling already has a layer of insulation sandwiched between the inner and outer roof panels. Also, the surface of the FatMat is shiny and smooth and will not take paint very well and when applied it is not perfectly smooth or seamless, so it will not be a very nice surface, if painted.

There is a company that makes door panels, kick panels and headliners for the '60-'66 Chevy trucks, however these items are not offered by the usual suspects in the aftermarket. You can get them from:

I was un-aware that those were out there. I had seen some but thought they were custom.

Painted might not look good as Tony stated, but cover it up with some sort of headliner.
