What is this tube coming through the passenger floor board?

It looks like it may have something to do with the heater but I am not sure. I also don't know why Chevy would design it that way. Isn't there already enough moisture in that area? Rotate the picture 90 degrees clockwise. The tube comes in and points down. I can rotate it though.

No A/C.

What/Where is the knuter valve?

Is there an alternative location for this drain to go to?

yes, I was trolling I couldn't resist sorry, I don't know what that is. Maybe your truck had a dealer installed a/c at one time and it's a drain tube

It's under the dash, right next to the Gazornoflat mounting bracket.

Re: What is this tube coming through the passenger floor board?

Thanks for the laugh. I was able to get a good angle to see up and behind the fender wheel well. The tube went to nothing. It actually looked like the hole was just punched through the floor. There was another similar hole about a foot away from the one I was working on. So I just cut the tube out and I will close the hole up. I will deal with whatever I messed up when the time comes. If it ever does.

Later and happy trolling guys. Let me know when you guys find some ID-10-T tape.
