Door Glass

Here is a how to question if any of you can help.

I got a brand new door from a friend last year which was a huge help. Now I have it off the truck and all the screws and bolts off of it.

So how do I get the glass and internal parts out of it. From what I can tell you can't split the door. I could probably spend more time and try to figure it out, maybe break some stuff but I figured ask the experts first. So thanks in advance.

Re: Door Glass

#1 take off the door and window handle , they are held on with a straight edge screw under the handle.
#2 take off the inner door panel, (about18?) phillips head screws around the edge.
#3 now you have access to the internals, roll the window all the way down, and remove the vent window. ( 1 bolt at the bottom, and a couple screws along the back edge)
#4 now you can roll the window back up, and there are 2 screws that hold the window to the track, along the bottom edge of the window.

that was for a 60-63 door, the 64 to 66 should be the same as well....
hope that helps.
