I have to be honest with you.... I have been at El Mirage a few times with a dragster style streamliner & motorcycles.... But, I re-guessed due to your Utah location .

Forgive me....

Re: October 2017 - Pitch Black!

I had a 37 Chevy pickup but never did anything with it it needed lots of work but was mostly all there. Got bugged to sell for so long I finally let it go. Some times I kick myself a lot. That's a beauty if I don't mind saying.

No need to to be sorry. I would have done the same. The salt can destroy stuff in no time. I dont take steel out there any more

Thanks for all the positive comments.

Salt trick..... Before going onto the salt, get a slightly diluted spray bottle of dish detergent. Spray EVERYTHING underneath the truck. Drive as much as you wish on the salt. The salt will attach to the detergent. After leaving the weekend of salt, drive home. Put a lawn sprinkler under your truck. It will rinse off the layered salt & detergent. ( Or maybe it will rain while driving home?)
