'69 GMC Newbie in Michigan

Hi to all,

I am now the owner of a 1969 GMC Short Box fleetside.
Oh I forgot to mention that it in pieces (lots) Frame is done 12 bolt with leaf springs(most of the pics on here show coils)?? At some point in its life it took a hit in the drivers door cowl area may need a donor cab Any suggestions??

Welcome aboard from Blissfield, MI.

I'd say a recommendation is to get a southern cab or a southwestern cab. It just isn't worth the work to put a Michigan cab back together! Humpty Dumpty made great scrambled eggs!! My trucks are all Advance Design and I've done 3 with southwestern cabs and I love them. Some minor patches but nothing like trying to rebuild an A pillar or an entire floor.
