I just hauled the 69 from Tallahassee to Valdosta on a U-Haul car transporter.
It was a tight fit length wise but not to bad width wise.

My parent's have a uhaul dealership, I will try and measure one of the auto transports tonight. I am sure that it will fit though, snugly.

I haule my 69 SWB from LA to Fort Irwin, CA. U-Haul has 2 different auto transporters. I got the older version, and I almost never got my truck up on it. I have 275/60R15's and I had to let air out of them to get them to squeeze between the trailer fenders. I burnt a lot of rubber off my back tires getting it on and off. I would not want to do that again. But, I think the newer (looks aluminum) trailer is a little wider. That's my .02 Good luck.
