Re: brake question

yes.........it will bolt in, make sure that either it has the lower hole for the rod or drill one 1 1/4 down from the manual hole on the brake pedal.

If you use the manual hole for P/B it will be really grabby because of the leverage ratio.

I just finished using a 87 brake system on my 67. A little moding but fits well. I had to trim the mounting bracket on the booster for the steering colunm firewall bracketand drill a couple of holes so I could use the 67's 4 firewall studs. Had to modify the the booster rod to make it longer and drill a hle 1 1/4 down on the brake pedal. I used the all the steel and rubber brake lines, proportioning valves etc. i took them off complete from the 87 and lined them up on the 67. I had to drill a few holes here and there for mounting the proportioning valve, line tie downs.
The front caliper steel lines matched up with some oval holes in the side frame rails, so I ran the rubber lines thru the holes, tighten down the nut, then screwed the steel lines into it. I used all the line hold downs, the rear frame brake hose bracket.
I used the complete front suspension and cradle, the rear axle backing plates, drums, rear axle brake line and axle cover bracket. The 87 had the 1 1/4 rotors and the 2 1/2 rear shoes

Re: brake question

I thought you might ask that........
I will be back at the shop sometime in the next couple of days. I will take pix. I mocked everything up and then took it apart so I could clean and paint.
