235-327

Just wondering what all I will need to convert my old 60
4x4 over to a 327 from a 235 and does anybody make a motor mount for a swap like this or do I have to fabricate something, also I want this to look as factory as possible
What do I do about the clucth I want to keep it hydraulic but the bellhousing I got has the fork coming through the drivers side, original is out the pass side, do I just do a hydraulic throwout or what

Thanks in advance,Andrew

Hi Andrew,

I only have a few minutes right now, but I can answer one of your questions: http://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/kit_hcrc.htm

Re: 235-327

that is alot of money to spend for nothing,
just move the slave cyl over to the left side. you may have to do a little fab work and move the line over. now there may have been a reason for mounting it orig on passenger side. ishould be a problem on a 4 x 4 but on a 2 x 4 the torsion bar setup may have caused the reason to move it over to the passenger side. the other option is to find a v8 bellhousing with the pass side access for the clutch mechanism and shouldn't cost you $200.00 and you will have accomplished something other than just ordering up something from a store
