1962 Suburban

Recently purchased, 1962, 235, 4 speed, all original. The rust is pretty much just in the front fenders with pin holes in the rockers.
Very clean underneath, nice hood and floors, doors are rust free.

Re: 1962 Suburban

A buddy of mine lives in CO and was coming back for Thanksgiving, he was looking for something to bring back to pay for his gas. he actually has a few things lined up to bring back for Christmas. I just bought a 63 GMC 4x4 Suburban off CR near me,WI truck, may be re selling it. The last 63 Chevy 4x4 Suburban I bought was on CL for almost a year and I bought it really cheap from California, 99% rust free.
Almost all my trucks are western trucks found on CL for bargain prices.

Re: 1962 Suburban

Got the old girl cleaned up a bit and running. Second owner bought it in 1968 and passed away in 1988, it sat since 1988 under a car port of sorts. Also has both rear seats, the narrower of the two has the lower brackets cut off, I won't be using that one.
All the lights work, even the lic light. Zero rust above the windshield inside and out, chassis/steering seams tight, shifter is nice and firm. Has 0869.3 on the odometer

Re: 1962 Suburban

Just for reference. The firewall is painted the same color as the interior and the truck was built in Kansas. There is over spray on the firewall from a light re spray.
