Re: NOS '71/'72 Inner and Outer Grille
I was hesitant to ship them but the Grey-Dog may not be a bad way to go. Have you had good luck with Greyhound?

Re: NOS '71/'72 Inner and Outer Grille
Greyhound seems to be the safest bet for fragile parts in my experience. Should be less than $100 to ship. What vintage NOS are these? Thanks, Sharpie

The guy I bought them from is the son of a closed dealership owner. I can send a photo of the box label later today if that would be helpful. Otherwise I don't know. The inner grille does have the GM part number molded into it. Dan |

Re: NOS '71/'72 Inner and Outer Grille
Hi Dan, as long as they are good vintage NOS we should be in great shape. Do you know the closest Greyhound terminal to you? If not, I can check on it. Thanks, Sharpie

Re: NOS '71/'72 Inner and Outer Grille
Hi Dan, sounds good. I got an online quote for $53 and 2 days transit time. I may have to bother you for a few quick measurements to confirm fit, but other than that we should be a go. Thanks, Sharpie

Re: NOS '71/'72 Inner and Outer Grille
One problem with greyhound is you can only insure for $300, never had anything damaged by them, but something to consider.

Re: NOS '71/'72 Inner and Outer Grille
Hi Tom, thanks for the tip. I've had good luck with them as well. Nearly 1k in parts does make a guy a little nervous though. Sharpie

Re: NOS '71/'72 Inner and Outer Grille
You could have him make a wood box to put it in. Thats how I got my NOS 71 side trim from Greyhound and it made it with no damage at all.

Re: NOS '71/'72 Inner and Outer Grille
I suggest building a wooden box for shipping.
Too much possibility of damage to risk on a NOS item.

I'm a big crate fan myself, but I can't assume that everyone enjoys building them like me! Sharpie
