Real world comparison...
.
The Cybertruck next to one of our trucks. Spotted this at the local Choke and Puke, parked next to it and shot the pair to share here... -Kevin

I saw one in the wild for the 1st time the other day. If it wasn’t on the other side of the street I would have taken a closer look. NOT My Cup of Tea

Re: Real world comparison...
One good thing about a Cybertruck. It doesn't look like all the other generic new vehicles. No one is going to mistake one for a F150/Silverado/Ram/Tundra.
Still like the Orange truck better. |

Re: Real world comparison...
Does that black wedge avoid radar like the F117 stealth fighter?

Re: Real world comparison...
Whew! No comparison at all and that C10 is fan-tas-tic!
The cyber truck looks like something that would have been in one of those cheap sci-fi movies in the 70's.

Re: Real world comparison...
If you haven`t had the misfortune of seeing one in person, they`re really cheap looking and fugly. Looks like someone quickly slapped it together in their garage with leftover sheetmetal and self-tappers. A smoother contour would have gone a long way.
But I am digging that C10. Last edited by Mid-Pack; 05-08-2024 at 10:04 AM. |

Re: Real world comparison...
"Tesla has a 2 million Cybertruck back order to fulfill."
Seems there are a lot of people without any criteria of what design or taste may look like. Tesla was able to make $200M from pre-orders of one vehicle. ($100 X two million) This class 8 truck I like. More info here: https://medium.com/coinmonks/tesla-h...l-ca8dd4dd09ca |

The new design truck is like comparing a cartoon drawn truck to a real truck

Re: Real world comparison...
Wait! That's an actual production vehicle?????
I had one drive by me over the winter and assumed it was a homebuilt vehicle. Some fan of a movie or video game who was on their way to some convention or such.

Nicknamed the "Wobbly Goblin" because of the 3 flight control computers voting on attitude. It was "adjusting" a lot.

I still think it looks like something a third-grader would doodle in class.

Re: Real world comparison...
Saw one on the freeway the other day. One was at the car show last Saturday. Sorry not for me, looks like someone asked a kindergartener to draw a truck. The vehicle looks hideous to me.

Re: Real world comparison...
If this is the way of the future, there is no way I want any part of it.
This debacle looks like a brain fart of a 3rd grader who hates the world. What sort of load could you ever carry in one of these debacles? And to think, some designer is being paid a lot of money to come up with this disaster.
