Brake pedal return spring - 64 C10
Have found some posts on this but none of them list where they found a spring that works.
It looks like I need a 5" spring with ome of the hooks a little longer than the other side, found some prospects on lowes website. Don't know how strong it needs the be, the one I am looking at is probably going to be too much at 40lbs. Had anyone found a good options, online or a common hardware store. Will hit up tractor supply and ace hardware to see if they have something that could work. I do have the parking brake spring that voes under the truck I may try to cut down and use. Have searched online and none of the normal sites I have used list ome, classic parts, lmc, brother, etc...

I could not find the original spring also. I ended up using a spring from the hardware store. I don't recall how strong it is.

Re: Brake pedal return spring - 64 C10
Yeah that spring didnt work, needs to be atleast an inch longer or I just cant pull it far enough. Reworked the arm on brake pedal and got it were it doesnt need a return spring, brakes feel much better now too. They werent bad to begin with but the pedal now has more push back than before and doesnt go down as far with same stopping power.
Just added a 1/4" to the bar I have welded on the pedal to mate up with eyelet on booster rod.
