Help with headers for a BB 72 4wd.

Anybody know what headers will work on a 1972 k20 that I converted to a big block? I see Hedman makes them for a 2wd and I have heard that a version of a Chevelle header will work. I am ready to install and don't want to make a purchase that is wrong.

Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

Did you try doing a search. I can only say that Chevelle headers work great on a 2 wd...

Re: Help with headers for a BB 72 4wd.

Prev. owner installed Headman headers on my '72 Blazer 2wd. BB conversion. I think they hang too low. They clear everything nicely(except the ground), don't leak or need tightening frequently. I don't bang 'em on the ground but if you look at the Blazer from the side you see them hanging underneath. It does have a hyd. clutch so clearance for a Z-Bar & linkage isn't a problem.
