Blower motor a/c or non a/c

Does anyone know what the difference would be between the two? I need a non a/c blower motor, no one locally has one all special order. However O'Reillys does have an a/c motor in stock. It is referenced in this thread http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ater+fan+motor as a direct replacement. Just wondering what would be different about the two motors.

Sometimes a/c or non a/c depends on the direction of rotation of the motor. It must be paired with the correct fan or "squirrell cage"

Interesting. Since all my motors are stuck, would anyone happen to know the direction of rotation it should be for a non a/c motor?
