Ok this might be and easy one should i make plugs to weld up the holes
or can i just filll it in with wire welder ... if i us a plug who would make a hole punch to make small plugs any ideas would be great .
the holes im filling in are the holes that mounted the spair tire on the step.
one hole will be covered up the new step fender...

I would get a four square metal electrical box and knock out whatever slugs that you need. 1.50 at Home Depot. A little heavier gauge but it would work.

how big are the holes? Can't really tell scale in the pic. If they aren't much bigger than trim holes, then I'd just fill em in with wire (use a piece of brass as a backing plate so weld won't stick and will have a flat backside). But, for me, much beyond 1/4", I'd cut a plug.

im guessing i would say the bigger holes are 7/16 and the smaller hole is 3/8 ..

OH - in that case I would cut a plug for both.
