WTB: NOS Outside Door Handles

I'd like to purchase a pair of NOS outside door handles. If I'm not able to find any NOS one I'll have to settle for some repo. ones.

Thanks!

Thanks big. In the pic. it appears to have spots, but may just be the chrome making it look like that. I'll have to ask the seller if it's in MT condition.

I think I paid near 60 bucks each for new ones at the dealership. Frankly, the reproduction ones have a nicer finish and a much nicer price.

Go GM! I had repo handles on my K10 and the finish started flaking/cracking after a few years. Keep in mind this is not a daily driver that is stored in the dry. I have since replaced them with GM pieces and I am happy with the result. You will get what you pay for.

Are the part numbers on our original units the same part numbers they carry now?

Where did your friend get his repro's? I just bought a set at Restoration World because it was one of the only things that didn't look nice on my truck. They were $50 a set.

Thumbs up

There are several manufacturers of the exterior door handles and they do vary in quality. Most NOS ones have small dots on the chrome from age as they have been sitting on shelves for the last 30 years and GM continued to fold over only 2 of the 4 tangs to retain the button so as soon as 1 breaks the button will pop off. You can get them at any local dealer.
The reproductions we carry are triple chrome plated, all 4 tangs on the button retainer are folded over so if one breaks 5-10 years from now the button still won't pop off, and they include mounting gaskets & mounting hardware.
You'll find them here on our site for $50 a pair

I agree. I have brand new GM ones on my blue K20 and the quality was horrible. I got the new repops for my green K20 from Paul and they were tons better than the new GM ones. They looked better than the original ones I removed also and the truck only had 30K miles on it. One of the few reproductions that I was actually happy with.

GMCPaul... I just ordered the pair of door handles from you guys. We'll see how they look and work. Also, just for future reference, do you guys have a weatherstip kit for the whole Blazer? I see where you have a kit for the cab, but was wondering if you have a deal on "all" the weatherstrip?

Dean...thanks for your input. We'll give it a try.
