Thumbs up New Here

Hi all. It's nice to see another site for these classic trucks. I have a 61 short fleet apache. Project is 3 months shy of the 3 year mark. Bought it without an eng/tranny. Havent heard the engine run since I pulled it from an 85 Z28, but am getting real close. Here is the current state:
305 V8 and tranny from an 85 Z28
Front cross member swap from an 82 chevy C10
Rear leaf spring and rearend assy swap from same 82
5 lug, front disc brakes and power steering
63-66 frame and 63 hood
New power booster and master cylinder from Early Classics
New alum billet dash insert and Dolphin gauges
New wiring kit (still to be installed) New Radiatior installed
Replacing electronic carb & distributor for standard w/HEI
Donor Quadrajet & HEI currently at mech for overhaul
Cab and front end sheet metal is all bolted back together.
Bed is still off and still debating how to finish bed floor and which gas tank to use behind rear end.
Just wanted to say hi.
