installing replacement panels

my uncle finally handed down his 72 blazer for my dad to restore. the problem is he waited until it was rusted and rotten to the point that if we dont get on it now, were gonna be in over our heads.
so were going to start replacing all the minor sheet metal panels offered through goodmark industries (sill plates, floor patches, fenders patch panels, etc.). we just need any help, advise, or guided documentation you guys might have to offer. anything is appreciated. magazine articles would be perfect too. thanx in advance
