72' Chevy Truck ID plate
Can anyone tell me where i can find replacement id/vin plate that is located in the jamb once you open the drivers door. This plate contains the vin number along with other information about your truck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, it is off and is in very bad shape. I would like to find a new one if possible.

Re: 72' Chevy Truck ID plate
I think the only way you will be able to replace it is with a highway patrol issue tag which will be totally different. The stock one is stainless so I would polish it to spif it up a bit and reuse. Is it tore up from a grinder or accident or something?

I've got a DMV replacement vin tag and it's just a sticker here in TX. It looks like crap and de-values the truck. Do EVERYTHING you can to salvage yours.

Clean it up if possible and rivet it back on. I think that's as good as you can get.
