Question $150 for 2 1972 c-10's

I'v got a friend who just bought 2 1972 C-10's for $150. One has a I6 with 3 on the tree and it runs and drives but needs a new bed. The other is a C-10 Delux with the 350 V8. I'v heard this is a fairly rare truck. This one the guy hit a tree doing 50mph and the front end is trashed but the drivers side fender, cab and rust of truck is in fair condition. Did he pay too much for these trucks. I will try to post pics for you guys tomorrow.

Thanks New Boy

EDIT: The 350 deluxe has no engine or trans

Welcome to the board.

I think that that sounds like a killer deal to me. Post some pics so we can all be jealous of him

i'd say that he did good. a 72 C/10 with a 350 isn't really rare at all, by itself. sounds like the one he has is good for parts. but if it has a lot of rare(r) options, that could up the value. Tach dash, tilt column, bucket seats, A/C, tool box, etc.
