is this bad? (windshield frame rust)

Is this bad? it extends under the visor attachment, but not out the other side. it is localized to here thankfully. it was covered up by the top when I went to look at it.

So how can I get it fixed?

Only way to fix rust is to replace it but if there's enough structure left, you could try one of the many rust abatement products.

The outer skin of it seems solid, it's just this inner part. The visor is in there good (and the screws don't want to come out) and it is solid on the other side of the visor bracket.

I was thinking if I could find someone to cut out and weld in a patch that would work for now.

What would be the proper way to fix that? Just get a new corner, or would a whole top frame be in order?

Easiest way (although I haven't had to do it yet) is to replace it with a non-rusted one...

Problem is finding a decent one that isn't rusted out already that somebody is willing to cut off a good truck.

Well, I am hoping that I can find someone who's driver's side is bad, so they replace the whole thing, and I can just get the passenger side window frame cut from them i guess, unless I can repair this as is.
