Asking for free advice and then coping an attitude is probably not going to draw any responses.

unfortunately she has stars in her eyes, what she has been told it is worth, and her percieved value are way different than reality, priced to move, and actually sell will probably not net her enough $$ for a cheap reliable car...

It's one of those that you would have to see to properly price. From her description it sounds like a $2,000 truck, with the outside paint job and all. Makes me think it might have been painted over dents and all.
Now if it's super solid and straight, it's probably worth more, but it likely isn't a $6,000 truck by any means.

I did send her an e-mail offering to help .I guess because it is because she lost her brother and in my brothers memory I got back into old trucks. But you know advise is cheap and bad advise well you get what you pay for. I just kinda felt compelled to try to help

I don't think she is copping that much of an attitude, she has probably received a ton of emails stating that it's not worth that much but I'll give you X amount of dollars for it. We all know about the kind of flakes a Craigslist ad will generate. That being said she could have worded it a little bit nicer.

I wouldn't be able to help out with a value because the price differences between the States and Canada are vastly different. Up here you wouldn't be able to buy that truck for under $5000 even with questionable bodywork.

If that is a 5000dollar truck in the great white north I need to go into the export business cause we all know everyone in Arkansasa is brokeor at least everyone I talk to about buying something from me. I am in the used car business and it is tough right now here in AR and a lot of the guys I talk to at the sale says the same. The economic slow down hit us a few months after everyone else and we are yet to come out of it like others say they have.
