I know exactly the one you talking about, I went to Best buy, and when I came out, my cover was gone, that wasnt the part the pissed me off, it was the fact, they didnt know how to take it off and dented tailgate , gett'n it off... I have since replaced with another one, but the dent is still there , goood luck in finding

no, it's a stainless steel cover for the actual handle, not the chrome center piece above it.

I have a handle that is chrome and was told that it was '71 only. It does look original, though I can't confirm that, because it's the only one that I've ever seen. The chrome is nice, but not perfect. $35 plus shipping.
