Question Flipped steering wheel

The steering wheel in my K5 is flipped. I attempted to rotate the linkage 180 degrees to no avail. Am I just a moron and missing something simple?

I did try to slip the slip the spline joint out and rotate, but I did not try to take it loose at the box. I guess I got too frustrated and overlooked that option. Thanks for the suggestion. I will give it a go this evening.

T, make sure you get James to help you since I am not there, your mechanical knowledge is at best equal to a monkey j/k. Actually, I think this will work. Call me tonight if you need some help.
