Another SoCal Newbie

Hi all,
Just another SoCal (Orange County) newbie here. I bought a 1970 C10 SWB with 400/400. My plan is to switch to disk brakes, add power steering, replace steering column (tilt), change the gauges, and fix numerous other issues. I've spent the last month or so reading thru all the posts here! I will more than likley start asking question in the near future!
Mike

Welcome from Studio City. Nice looking truck and I like the 400/400,although that camera angle or lense makes it look kinda wierd under the hood there.Had me wondering for a moment just what that was.

Lot's of surprises! It's nothing that can't be fixed. Just upsetting when you're told everthing works and is rust free and that was not the case. Oh well. I will fix it, drive it for a year or two then sell it and buy another one!

Either way the truck looks great, I hope to get mine close to that someday!

Do you know how much it is lowered, I love the stance! What size are the wheels?

Can I ask how much you bought it for?

Thanks! I don't know how much it has been lowered. I don't know if the front has drop spindles or cut springs. I haven't measured yet. The wheels are 15X10's and the tires are 295 50/15. I think I may change the fronts to 15x8's or 15x7's. I paid $7600 for it which was probably about a grand to much!

Thanks! Who did your install? I haven't decided if I am going to do it or have it done. I will probably do it myself if I can find the time!
