My new 51 project!
New to this forum and finally starting a project for myself went to Roanoke,VA and picked up a '51 chevy 3 window. Truck will be s10 frame swapped and bagged on accuair e-level, corvette disc brakes, GM performance Ls2 and T -56 6spd. Just gathering parts at this time so progress updates will be slow at first.

@Root2812 I want to say it was around $300 I've had it finished for about a year now been covered up on engine stand. Here's another shot with the sun hitting on it.

Re: My new 51 project!
Tailgate I picked up off of eBay, the tailgate that came with it didn't match. This one should be pretty close.

Re: My new 51 project!
@FarmerSid I have to admit I have run into some nice parts but I have paid top dollar for some as well but I guess it's a give and take game.

Re: My new 51 project!
Still better than aftermarket. I think I'd pay almost near aftermarket prices for good used original. Keep us up to date.

Re: My new 51 project!
Been a busy past 2 weekends tore down the s10 chassis and cut off the original mounts. Pressure washed the chassis and cut out the spring pockets to make way for the airbags. Off to sandblasting this week.
