is it a swb? i`d say $1500-$2000 for a lwb, $2200-$3000 for a swb stepside and $3000-$4000 if it is a swb fleetside. and that`s a little steep in my opinion. the 6 cyl really kills the price to me. it`s also hard to tell with out pictures, hope that helps a bit, oh and welcome from clarksville, tn.

Hard to tell without a picture. Before purchasing I would decide on a few things. Will you be happy with the 6 cyl 3 spd or will you want a V8/auto put in? Do you like the color? Interior color? Any options in it? If you like the truck as is, with just a few items like bumpers needed then it would be a good deal IMO. If you have to swap a ton of stuff and paint inside/outside then it might be better to start with one closer to what you want.
Bottom line is if you really like the truck it doesn't matter if you pay 1K or so more than it is really worth, as long as you will be happy with it.

if the paints real nice i would say 3k at the most. as i think the 6cyl and 3spd kills it

sweet guys this is helping a lot. There has never been anything done to this truck. Its the light blue with the white part on top of the cab. The is only 2 rust spot on the hole turck I can find. Has manul steering, disk brakes and the chrome about the back of the cab and down the sides. If I got it I would repaint and put a v8 in it.

That's like $700 American ain't it? Not as much rust down south here. I paid $800 for a mechanically sound truck with a good bit of rust (rockers gone).

BTW Welcome to the board from South MIssissippi.

still worth it to me.It is easy to swap to power steering ,power brakes and a v-8.Body work is pricey. Best to pay more for one with less rust than pay less for one with lots of rust.just my opinion

how's the floor/rockers/ - floor supports.
6-cly/3speed - ehh not so good unless your into that sort of thing.

pictures would be really helpful.

$4000 is really steep for a truck that has nothing done to it...unless it is in super nice condition.

Welcome from SW Washington State....

Check all the normal rust areas....core support below battery, fenders, rockers, cab corners

Take cash and you may get a better deal than you are thinking...
