shortening steering column

I had to remove the column to do some work on the brake light switch my brake lights were on all the time. And since had to remove the column to gain access to the wire's I figured this would be the perfect time to stuff the steering wheel closer to the dash. After reading the FAQ article "shortening the steering column" from Putter and other's I had my welder and grinders ready to go. The only problem was the neutral safty switch hitting the fire wall. My solutiuon was to keep the switch inside the cab by relocating 2 inches or so. Now I can move the column in as far as I want.
