Re: Did a board member get this?

Seems like a decent price but not amazing. It looks like it has a fair amount of rust.

What's with the square tubing under the front bumper? RV tow bar?

Re: Did a board member get this?

I like the phrase "all rust is pictured".

To bad that's way far from the truth.

That one pic showing rust through on the front of the tub by itself is a major repair!

Re: Did a board member get this?

For Kansas its a good price, very little rust for here too. And the price is right for around here. I've seen some with more rust then that go for alot more. Its original and you can see what your getting. I was just asking if a member got it. Thanks Randy

Sorry, didn't mean to pick.
Defiantly a survivor.

What was the 'sold' price anyway?

Re: Did a board member get this?

No way to know- maybe it didn't sell at all...

From the auction listing:

"The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale."

Re: Did a board member get this?

I'd have bought it simply for the fact that it was a CST with a 350, 4 speed and A/C. That's my dream set-up.

Re: Did a board member get this?

It actually looks like a pretty decent original blazer with minor rust. The body and interior is pretty good ~~~if it was closer, I would certainly want to look at it a bit closer. You can pretty much expect to have issues with the leading edge of the rear quarters on any K5. If the rear floors, windshield frame and torque boxes are solid, the rest is usually not a major issue. Yea, not my favorite color!! But changing it to factory A/C is also a relatively easy upgrade and better yet would be installing aftermarket A/C if needed. Of course around here, a topless blazer doesn't need A/C does it?
