Question Max Lift?

whats the max lift i could put on a 4X4 gmc jimmy with out having to drop the transfer case?? i know id have to extend brakelines, linkage exc exc.

4 inch is a safe bet. By the time you get to 6 inch you usually have to lengthen the driveshafts or drop the trans case or something to help your driveshafts. If you are only on the street and you are just going for looks, then I don't think the driveshaft angel itself will be a problem with a 6in, but the length will. If your are hard core into off roading it will be a different story.

I have a four inch lift with the transfer case dropped 3/8" and I have no problems at all.

Pretty much, all you want but you'll need double cardon joints on the drive shafts to do it.
