I just took these wheels off the truck and as I was taking pictures of them before I send off for powder coating I noticed something very strange? One of the rims set 1/2 inch higher than the rest of them. I made sure nothing was under it and then decided to measure them. What is wrong with this picture and why? I have 4 rims that are all 6 1/2 inches across and one that is just over 7 inches across? The one that is 7 inches was not the spare. Any ideas?

2nd part. I have been planning on putting 31x10.50x15's on these rims but I think I have to have 7 inch rims for this? Will 6 1/2 inch rims work?

first off when measuring rims you measure from inside the bead to inside the bead, so it appears that you have 3 51/2inch rims and 1 6 inch rim

those are some narrow rims, if you are planning on putting on 31x10.50x15 tires you need a 7in rim, but 8 is prefered. imo anyway

I'd say a PO might have neede another rim and got one from a junkyard or somewhere else and it just "looks about right".

I'll second this, though I'd pass on 7" - definitely use 8" for that tire size.
