Love Those Fed Holidays....

wife at work, kids at school and finally a day at the shop. Nice day for working here to. Started sanding/strip down the bed Took a little getting use to using air tools for sanding. I've been use to using the old electric sanders and hand stuff most of my life. I got about half of the outside of the bed cleaned up. I also took and stripped the two step fenders also. Still trying to fogure out why this person had so much bondo on the drivers side of the bed and the passenger rear step. Couldn't find any rust or holes it was trying to cover. Guess they must have some relative who makes bondo and wanted to support the family. It's nice to finally get something down. Hopefully I'll be shoot some primer on these guys soon.

It's a toss up at the moment, either the factory medium olive or a pure white
