Which type of mount to install Bully Side Step on my 1971 K20

I need to install a side step to help passengers get into my 1971 K20. I like the aluminum step by Bully but there are two styles/types of mounts for them. One is the AS-600 which looks like it mounts on a vertical surface like pinched rail along the bottom of the rocker panel. The other is the AS-200 which looks like it mounts to the underside of the truck floor with two bolts going thru the floor and connecting to a plate that you put under the carpet in the cab of the truck.

I cant find any videos or anywhere people talk about installing this kind of side step in a truck as old as the ones we have. Could some one tell me which type would be best in a 1971 K20 Please?????? I am thinking that the AS-200 is the right one but not completely sure. Thank guys.
