pick up this bad boy a couple weeks ago. 355, headers, dual flowmaster exhaust. paid 1200 with a blown tranny, picked up a th350 for 100 have 1400 total into it. i call it the "rubber ducky"

Beautiful truck, nice to see another local guy with an 85, still tryin to get mine back on the road have the same problem, blown tranny........have been searchin for one one local around here, where did you find one for $100??????? Picture of mine below since they are basically sisters and local, wasnt tryin to hijack your thread

body is pretty good except for drivers side rocker and little specs of rust in all the usual places. plans are a 5,5 drop(maybe lower), 700r4, 4.56 rear, and im gonna build a high performance 350 for it.

well some plans have changed around a little bit. my friend had a motor built for outlaw racing and found that the races take too much coin to stay in. so hes gonna bump down to enduro racing and needs to run a stock motor. so i traded him the stock motor that i bought to build plus 800 for his 500 hp motor. its a 358, comp roller cam, 12:1 compression, forged pistons, rods, and crank, high rise air gap manifold. ill be picking it up in the next two to three weeks. this trucks gonna be mean!!!

me and my buddy got bored so we made my truck posi today. i pulled off my diff cover to see what gears they are (3:42's) and my buddy who is a welder told me we could weld it up and make it a fully locked rear, so we did! i lovvveee the way it hops when it turns!
