Cab mount bushings?

Did you just pick them up from a local parts store or did you order a kit from LMC, USA1, etc.? Do you have any recommendations or products to avoid?

Re: Cab mount bushings?

I needed some core support bushings and found that they are pretty hard to find at the moment, ended up buying from Brothers (and paying too much and waiting too long) but that's how it goes.

They likely all come from the same supplier. LMC, Brothers, USA1, etc.

Re: Cab mount bushings?

I bought poly bushings from Summit, Energy Suspension brand and they came with the core support bushings. My old rubber ones didn't seem that bad but it totally changed the truck after the poly bushings were installed. It was like it had less torsional flex if that makes sense. I would buy them again.

That option has been in the back of my mind as well. My truck will never see an autocross track but I don't mind the idea of eliminating a little bit of looseness. How are the heights? Did the bodylines from cab to box line up well after install?

Mine is a crew cab dually so I will definitely never see an autocross track but it felt more solid after the bushing replacement. Everything lined up as it should, no complaints at all.

Re: Cab mount bushings?

Got mine from LMC. Was amazed at how much the rear mounts had collapsed. I lucked out and didn't have to replace the bolts.

I bought the complete Energy Suspension bushing set that included cab, core support, all the leaf spring, shackle and sway bar.
