Turbo 400 leak

When I bought my th400 and np203 last fall, the guy already had them bolted together and I just shoved them under my truck and put them in as a unit. But the trans is clearly leaking, as best I can tell between the rear of the trans and the adapter. You can see some gasket making goo oozing out, I should have picked up on that before I put them in. I want to make sure I have all the pieces in place before I pull this apart. I know I need the large adapter to case gasket. I see a transmission-to-adapter o-ring and a transmission-to-adapter gasket listed on most parts websited, but when I pulled the adapter off my old transmission it didn't have either. It just had o-rings on the 6 bolts holding the adapter to the trans. So what should it have?

Re: Turbo 400 leak

I'm not always so good with this computer stuff. Can somebody do me a favor and move this to Engine & Drivetrain?
