Pair of straight rust free 1968 Stepside LWB fenders with spare cut-out.

These fenders are in amazing condition. Original paint. A couple of super minor dings is all, and you have to look pretty hard to find those. The cut-out is unique to the LWB trucks. They are not the same as the SWB fenders. The semi-circle is a bit different if you set the two side by side. Plus the SWB fender will have a hole cut in it for the spare tire mounting bracket, where the LWB fender has no hole. I want to sell them together and am thinking $1250 for the pair. Buyer springs for shipping. I will certainly work with any purchaser to get the fenders crated and to the shipper. I am not a professional packer by any means...so a pro would be recommended.
One last word...I am amazed by the lack of rust on these fenders. You will not be disappointed.
One more last word..I realize that I only have the one fender pictured. I will post a picture of the other matching fender later today. I will gladly text or email more pics upon request.
Thank you!

Re: Pair of straight rust free 1968 Stepside LWB fenders with spare cut-out.

I grew up loving and driving these pickups. The sound of the door closing on one is comforting to me...means I'm going to get where I am going, and is familiar like an old friend's voice. I probably had three dozen or more go through my hands since around 1983 when I switched from Hotwheels and Matchbox cars to the real thing. The ones I kept and made my own are worth astounding amounts of money these days. 40-50K. I cannot fathom spending that much on a four wheeled vehicle unless there was 'turbo', and '911' in the model name. So my days of owning and driving these great old pickups are over. I was mindful enough to put aside some items that I thought I would want down the road, or were of a rare nature, or in particularly nice shape. These fenders are an example of that mindset. I have more odds and ends that I will be posting here, because this is where they will be appreciated and used by those who love their Chevys. I have sold all my small block goodies, heads, blocks, and internals. I have an Olive Green interior out of a 72 Cheyenne...dash pad, door panels, visors, belts, steering wheel, etc. I have a rear slider, newer smoke tint, Matching front and rear 4x4 axles, rear is posi. Drive shafts front and rear. And a set of rust free doors, complete and restored. and a bit more. I am not giving my stash away...but want to give folks a satisfactory deal on good quality parts that I have. I am kinda butt hurt that I don't have my 67 swb step, or my 69 swb straight side...or my 62 lwb, or my....I am in the grips of one expensive and time consuming motorhead addiction..Shovelheads. That is where my attention is centered and where my money and time is spent. No time for gold plated pickups. Thanks for listening.

I could be interested in the left fender with spare cut out if down the road you might want to separate them. The big problem would be the shipping.
