Will an entire G1 drivetrain from a 69' SB pickup, fit on an 85' Blazer frame?

Will an entire G1 drivetrain from a 69' SB pickup, fit on an 85' Blazer frame?

69'

FRT = D44 with crossover steering, 2.5" Tuff Country EZ ride springs, and a zero rate
RR = 12 bolt with 4' shackle flip, 2.5" Tuff Country EZ ride springs....the rear custom bumper weighted down this set-up, so it has roughly an even stance

350 SBC, 700R4, 203/205 doubler with triple stick All ORD components

85'

stock 10bolt FRT & RR
stock 305, 700R4, 208

I want to use any and all 69' components possible. Will they cross over or will there be any modifications needed to the 85'?

....i.e.

can I use the 69" shackle flip?

exhaust clearance? custom 69' exhaust will used if possible

crossmembers needed? can 69' x-members for tranny and tx-case cross over?

do I need to relocation of any axle/shock mounts?

triple stick position in hump? any special consideration?

is a body lift needed?

any other issues I am forgeting?

do I need any other parts for this swap?

There are major differences between 1st gen and 3rd gen. I would also take only what you have to from the 69. The axles will swap. The springs are different lengths for 1st gen to 3rd gen. I don't believe the shackle flip will work. The frame is different on the 3rd gen, so the cross members won't work either. Your original 3rd gen cross member should work, its the same tranny. Why change it to a 69'? The triple stick you will have to trim and cut to make that work. I'd say jump in and take the issues as the come. Good luck and hope that gives you a start to all your questions.
