Re: what year is this truck

As the others have said it has a 69 or 70 grille and hood emblem on it.
6 lug would also point to those years as 71 and 72 1/2 ton 2wd's had 5 lug.

Of course these trucks go together pretty easily and swapping parts isn't tough.

Re: what year is this truck

While it could be a 69 or a 70 the fact that it is a period picture and has round mirror heads strongly indicate a 69. If you have a better frontal shot of the grill we might be able to firm that up more. But as it sits I am comfortable with calling it a 69.

Re: what year is this truck

I agree SS Tim and others, I believe it is a '69. My best friend bought it new and just passed recently, his wife says it is in the shed at the ranch and was waiting to be restored along with the boat. I would like to get both but am more interested in the truck. My '66 has the same wheels and a tonneau cover, I must have liked his to have copied it that much.
thanks again all. taclem

Re: what year is this truck

Sorry to hear of his passing. I hope when I go someone appreciates my rides and restores them too! Nice boat too. It would sure compliment that truck to have both and paint the same color.

COULLLD BE 67, 68, 69 70,71 OR A 72....just swap the front end and add moldings, trim, lights...etc. but that front end is off a 69 or 70, everything else would need a true expert..... lol i just schooled up the wife on the basic difference between them all...sorry i had to be a smart a$$

Sorry to hear that! Needs to be restored??? Is that an old picture? It looks like a really sharp truck and boat combo as is?
