1970 GMC steering column wiring harness mount - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

This is my first post the the page. Hope you all can help me out.
I have a 1970 GMC 3/4 ton and Im currently cleaning up all the wiring.
I found the steering column harness not attached to anything. In the pic you can see a mounting clip. Where does that go? I unplugged the connectors to see where it might go but no luck. Any got a pic or advice on where to mount? Or does it even mount to the column?
