Talked to my mechanic this morning actually - rotors, calipers and ball joints were replaced today on the project blazer after they dug into the front suspension... I think that's the last of the repairs so after confirming no more leaks from almost every possible spot including the gas tank - I should get the truck back this week (finally)!

I was wrong the alternator was the next thing to fail the inspection over the weekend - new alternator pending for the 71 Blazer project...

It was a west coast truck from California then to Washington then got to me .

A few more updates from what was under the paint of the blue tub. A few spots of rust, but nothing compared to the original tub...

Selling off the parts off the blue and original tubs to offset the cost of new sheet metal. The labor hours to fix the blue tub are more than buying new metal in some spots - so working smarter not harder in some spots.

Updates-
- rest of suspension back from powder coat - including rear axle housing
- step up panel installed between bed floor and normal floor
- 72 speaker grill now in the dash
- radio area fixed (was cut out)
- A pillar and kick panel on driver side fixed
- 72 doors installed and are being aligned
