November 2004 - "Blazer Of The Month"

WELL TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY, AND A COUPLE OF MONTHS BACK WHEN THEY
DECEIDED TO HAVE A "BLAZER OF THE MONTH" AND YOU COULD JUST PICK A
MONTH WITH NO POLL'S I CHOSE NOVEMBER BECAUSE OF MY BIRTHDAY, I'D
HOPED TO BE A LIL FURTHER ALONG BY NOW, BUT OH WELL, WE COULD ALL
BENEFIT FROM "MORE MONEY THAN SENSE" SO IT'S TO BAD I DON'T.

OK, I DECEIDED I WANTED TO BUY A BLAZER THIS YEAR INSTEAD OF A NEW
FULL SIZE TRUCK, I SAW THE ONE THAT JOE "1972BLAZER" HAD FOR SALE &
FELL IN LUV IMMEDIATELY, HOWEVER I COULD NOT AFFORD HIS ASKING $$$,
A FEW MONTH'S WENT BUY AND THE PRICE CONTINUED TO DROP, IT GOT TO
A POINT WHERE I JUST SAID TO MYSELF, "I WILL HAVE MORE THAN THAT IN
MINE W/O EVEN GETTING TO THE POINT THAT HIS WAS IN" SO I MADE THE
DEAL IN JUNE, WE DISCUSSED DETAILS AND PIC'S FOR ALMOST A WEEK OR
TWO AND I SAID, "I'LL TAKE IT. SENT HIM A BANK CHECK, THE END RIGHT

WRONG, LINED UP SHIPPING THROUGH A CARRIER THAT WORKS FOR ME AT
MY PLACE OF BUISNESS, SHE SAID, "NO PROBLEM" AND IT WOULD COST ME
ABOUT $1000.00 SHIPPED (ENCLOSED) WELL AFTER 3 WEEKS SHE DECEIDED
THEY COULDN'T DO IT BECAUSE OF THE LIFT KIT, CALLED ANOTHER CARRIER
AND GOT A BID OF $1600.00 (ENCLOSED) I ASKED IF THEY COULD TAKE ALL
THE EXTRA PARTS THAT WOULD NOT FIT PACKED IN THE BLAZER, AND THEY
SAID, "NO PROBLEM" WHEN THEY WENT TO PICK IT UP THEY REFUSED THE
EXTRA PARTS AND SAID, "NO" I TOLD THEM WE AGREED ON EVERYTHING &
THEY ASKED IF I WANTED MY MONEY BACK, AT THIS POINT I WAS JUST AT
A POINT OF SCREEMING, I CALLED THE FIRST CO. BACK, MY FRIENDS, AND
ASKED IF THEY COULD GET THE EXTRA PARTS, THEY SAID YEH, "FOR $100"
SO I RELUCTANTLY SAID, "DO IT" THEN I HAD TO CALL THE OTHER PLACE
BACK AND OK THEM TO GET THE BLAZER W/O THE PARTS SINCE THEY HAD
REFUSED THE WEEK BEFORE, WHEN IT WAS ALL SAID AND DONE I WAITED
LIKE CLOSE TO 2 MONTHS FOR DELIVERY, SEEMED LIKE FOREVER.

IT WAS PURCHASED INCOMPLETE AND I HAVE THE HONOR OF FINISHING IT.

OK, you've thrown around the same pics for awhile now, time to start makin' some progress. j/k, just sifting through all the extra parts you got took over a month. :p I'm jealous.
One of the cleanest blazers I've seen to date! Yep, I've had the pleasure/fortune to see this one in person, NICE RIDE Craig!
Oh yeah, happy b-day.
