Which wheels would you choose?

Got the tires pulled off my turbines this morning, so I can blast and clear coat them. Did it at a friends shop. While I was there he offered to trade a set of Eagle Alloys for my turbines. I tried to trade for or buy his wheels for quite a while, but he wouldn't let them go.

Here is a wheel just like what he has (except bolt pattern obviously). His wheels are in great shape.

I really like the turbines, but...

Anyone have any pix with these wheels? They look like the Mickey Thompson Classics...

Re: Which wheels would you choose?

There are several copies of those wheels made. They are rather cheap to buy brand new (for an aluminum wheel) at $100 a piece,,,not that bad. Probably why you see them on most every 4x4 rig.

I ran that style on another jeep we had years back. They are nice looking wheels that get the job done. I don't think I'd trade in the turbines though.

If you have what I'm thinking, you don't see them everyday and I don't remember them being reproduced....(maybe they are now?)

Turbines. I like the simple clean look of the other wheels but they have been run into the ground,as in they are everywhere. Even Ford used a similar one for years, which really killed them for me.

Re: Which wheels would you choose?

That looks fantastic. Now you have a handsome wheel that suits your vehicle perfectly that takes you back to when it was new and isn't something the guy next door can run out and buy today.
