Did i break it

I am currently putting in my motor in my build. got it wired up and was filling to power steering pump when i noticed my electric fans were not working. i do not have a temp gauge hooked up yet. how do i know if i screwed up my motor by running it to hot. 350 cast iron black and heads radiator was full and no coolant boiled out with a 15 psi cap.l

How long did you run it? Also, does she misfire, or run "funky"? Longhorn

Re: Did i break it

On and off over 20 minutes. Nothing funky as far as firing. It was idling while I filled the power steering

Re: Did i break it

Is it a fresh new never run motor or does it have a few miles on it.
If it didn't puke out of the rad it'll be fine.

Re: Did i break it

If it ran on an off for 20 minutes, are you sure it even got the coolant temp hot enough to turn the fans on? I doubt you've done any damage at this point.
