lug nut help on late model wheels

I'm stealing 05crewcab pics to show you the wheels I picked up today and want to put on the 72 'burban. The question I have is concerning lug nuts. I think I can make a chevy cap fit by grinding the plastic tabs a bit so they sit flush, I just have to get a lug nut that is threaded on the outside to to accept the late model cap. Anyone have any pointers?
Thanks,
Nik

I'm not sure what the thread size is on an 8 lug setup but I had gotten mine on Ebay.

This is for a set of 32, 9/16-18 thread. You can find other thread sizes on Ebay too.

Re: lug nut help on late model wheels

I bought mine off e-bay from a seller named lugnutking. Same as above, about same price. Just make sure you measure your studs and order the right size nuts. I had a problem looking up for mine because they listed 2 size studs for the 68 C20. Good luck. Wheels look nice.

Re: lug nut help on late model wheels

Thanks for the heads up guys. Eagleuh, those are the center caps I'm going to modify to work on the rims I bought. Hopefully a little trimming and some lug nuts will make for a decent set of shoes.

Re: lug nut help on late model wheels

O.K., I got the tires mounted on the wheels and from looking at the thickness of the rim I'm wondering if I wouldn't need some sort of a shank type lug. Has anyone else used the wheels on their truck?
