no start
Have 87 chevy wrangler with 305. After it has ran for about 10min it will not restart. I have to let it sit for about 1 hour before it will run again. I have changed the ignition module under the dist cap but that never helped. When it does run seems to have lots of power and no sputtering. Any ideas??

Re: no start
You might want to describe the symptoms.

Re: no start
Some possible suspects:
Fuel tank vent plugged. Ignition coil with cracked core - once the core heats up the crack expands and the coil quits working. Corroded or otherwise poor +12v connector to distributor. To add to Franken's suggestion - include a couple of engine pics. Maybe something will stand out as a potential problem. |

Re: no start
I swapped to a metal can style fuel filter recently and the same problem arose. Swapped back to a plastic Wix and it went away. If you live in a hot area, fuel evaporation inside the fuel lines could be a problem.
