Seats 64 Chevy C10
First off I love this site! I have been building a 64 c10 for the last year. I purchased a set of 2001 Silverado 40/20/40 seats with fold down armrest. They are gray cloth and need to be recovered to match black interior. Initially I did not intend on going as far with truck as I have. My wife now refers to it as the MONEY PIT! I really would like to have a custom bench or split bench. I have looked online for a while and really cant find anything. I will post pics later

Re: Seats 64 Chevy C10
Well first off welcome! And as far as finding one goes, you'd have the best luck at a junkyard. I used some 6-way power, black leather buckets out of a Mercury Marauder which I bought from a buddy of mine for $100 bucks. He had found them in a junk yard and grabbed them up for one of his trucks. No wrinkles, cracks, fading, etc. I'd recommend a 60/40 to be honest because it has the flip up console with the driver's seat separately controllable from the bench style passenger and center section. I've even found a nice set of Lincoln Sedan front seats that have a nice clean tan leather in the 60/40 style at my local yard. Hopefully I'll manage to grab them up one day and set them in the shop for a future project.

Their dashboards aren't plastic, and they've survived both the best and worst of what the 20th century had to offer. For the owners of these trucks, it's often the same story. Through both good and bad times they persevered, until one day they could turn the key and roll up in a customized truck everyone with good taste would admire. – Custom Classic Trucks |
